Smoky Paprika Chicken Burgers
I thought you might like this recipe. It's easy, healthy (if you leave out the chips haha) and very tasty.
To make you will need 4 butterflied chicken breasts, 1 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp chilli flakes (if you don't like spicy foods then leave them out or if you love spicy food then up those little flakes to a hotter level) and 2 tbsp oil - I normally use sunflower or rapeseed as I prefer these as I prefer them to olive oil!!
Simply mix the paprika, chilli and oil to a paste. Then coat the chicken in the vibrant paste and leave to marinate. At least an hour, but I make these in morning so they are ready for cooking at tea time.
To cook... either fry in a non stick pan for about 8 minutes each side on a med-high heat or you can BBQ them until cooked through.
Really, these are so good even Steve ate them without a complaint and I even got a 'these are good' woah there... good? woopwoop!!
Am I the only who can't resist a burger? I'm not talking those little feeble paper wrapped things from fast food joints, I'm talking juicy, too big for the bun burgers? Who's with me? Burgers can be so much more...
